Who is this form for?

Please use this form if you feel that you have the right to take over (succeed) a tenancy after a tenant dies.

PLEASE NOTE If you are not the late tenant’s husband, wife or joint tenant you will need to provide proof that you have lived at the late tenant’s home (see the upload section of this form).

- If tenancy started before 2012, you will need to supply evidence that you have lived at this address in the last 12 months.
- If tenancy started after 2012, you will need to supply evidence that you have lived at this address in the last 3 years.

    Evidence can be:
    • A bank or building society statement (you just need to show us your address and date of statement, please block out any bank details as we don’t need to see this)
    • A utility bill
    • A wage slip
    • Any other letter from a public company (such as the DWP or the council)
