Who is this form for?

It’s for a Berneslai Homes’ tenant who is moving (transferring) from one Berneslai Homes property to another. Please note that we normally advertise vacancies before the keys are handed in. We don't include the property number in the advert and we would never ask a prospective new tenant to view the property.

Extending or cancelling your notice

There is no legal right to cancel or extend this notice once it as been submitted. If we allow you permission to extend or cancel your tenancy termination, your gas and electric may have already switched over to our preferred supplier for which you would be responsible for.     • The property must be left clean and clear before I leave and put right any damage caused during the tenancy. If I do not do this you can charge me for the cost of cleaning, clearing or repairing damage.
    • All keys (including windows and outbuildings) and communal/laundry door fobs must be returned by 12noon on the Monday following my termination date. Failure to do so will result in a further weeks rent being payable.
    • I understand that if I have any outstanding electricity or gas payments to the property I am leaving that you will pass on my forwarding address to Berneslai Homes preferred energy supplier.
    • You may find a new tenant for the property before my tenancy ends. This may include advertising the property.
    • If I am moving to a residential care home then my tenancy will not end until I have given you proof that I am staying there.
